There will be more to follow on life in Brixton and its architecture

Working on some new pieces for my next exhibition of my imaginary photographic art which will come out of a trip to Vancouver, Canada. I rather fell in love with the pioneering railway spirit and especially the trestles that the trains used to cross the valleys that rather predominate Vancouver island. These extraordinary bridges , all man made are structures that i am looking forward to working on as part of a new series of images all about this theme of travel, pioneering and the man made built environment. Wood wood wood!

After 2 days in Toledo staring at the floor and roads, I became besotted with the different types of metalwork in the street. All the utility companies have been securing their holes in teh ground for what looks like ages with fantastic patina and array of metal plates.
have a look at one iof them here I hope to create a tableau with these metal plates that will be full of tone colour and texture. Keep your eyes peeled as they say ….
